About Us
Simon Stevenson began developing his green thumb growing up in classic English gardens on both sides of the Atlantic. A long-term Leaside resident and graduate of Ryerson's Landscape Architectural Technology program, Simon established Leaside Landscaping in 1982. Its subsequent success can largely be attributed to the fact that Simon is one of those fortunate individuals who has turned his passion into his career.
Chris Mace first realized his passion for landscape gardening at age 16 while working for as leading garden centre in the UK. Nearly 20 years later, as an award winning landscape designer, Chris's passion for all elements of landscape design and gardening just keeps growing. His extensive portfolio is the result of being committed to helping individuals create the garden of their dreams. He believes that every garden is a co-creation between himself, the client and the architecture of the land. Chris has a BA (Hons) and Post Graduate Certificate in Business Managaement from Leeds University, UK and a Certificate in Landscape Design from Humber College. Chris is a member of the Landscape Designers Commodity Group with Landscape Ontario and is the lead Designer at Leaside Landscaping.
Leaside Landscaping has grown into a company that deploys multiple teams of experienced people who provide a full range of services. The long-term staff includes landscape technologists, designers, carpenters, stonemasons and horticulturalists.
